Summer already?
Many things have happened since the last post:
- Xander is now 3, Tyler is 2 years old. Both conspire with Connor to drive me crazy, but don’t succeed because I get tired first.
- In March we had to put down our chocolate lab Bosco. He was 14 1/2 years old. The kids have absolutely no understanding of what had happened and remind us at every inopportune moment that “the brown dog died”.
- Since apparently we are itching for punishment, we got a puppy in May. Her name is Peaches and she is at least part shepherd, part lab. She is a sweet puppy, but of course she is doing her best to increase our cleanup workload.
- Our AC broke just when the temperatures climbed to scratch the 100 F mark. It took a week to get the necessary spare parts, but just in time for the next heatwave we are enjoying cool air.
- I got promoted.
- I still don’t have much time to blog.
